Our fan-favorite travel backpack in a custom waxed canvas shell

Our CIVIC Travel Bag series is acclaimed for offering a swath of utility-forward features: luggage pass-through, water bottle pockets, and 13 organizational zones. We took its modern DNA and infused it with a custom-made, high-end cotton & wax-finished shell called P400 Wax C4X.

The waxed canvas was developed with the historic Scottish mill Halley Stevensons. It is stiff, durable, and designed to get better with age. We added leather zipper pullers sourced from 100-year-old supplier Berger Co. Combined with our standard gray internal lining and the CTB26??s signature features set and appearance, this heritage variation is built to make its own legacy.

A CENTURY IN THE MAKING

We worked with historic Scottish mill, Halley Stevensons, to custom-make a high-end cotton & waxed finish shell called P400 Wax C4X. The end result is a weave that??s more tear-resistant than other waxed canvas we tested, and a harder and more crystalline wax than what is usually found in apparel.

STANDARD GRAY INTERIOR

The waxed canvas CTB26 comes equipped with a 420D HT Nylon 6,6 standard gray lining. This color aids in elevating the visibility of your internal gear, making the ??grab n?? go?? a breeze.

LEATHER-GOODS FROM EVERGOODS

To keep with the heritage look, we sourced leather for our zipper pullers and style label from a company with over 100 years of leather expertise: Berger Co. in Atchison, KS.

NO SACRIFICES

Despite using heritage fabrics and materials, the waxed canvas edition of CTB26 sacrifices none of our modern signature features, innovative access, 3D pocketing, and ergonomics that you??ve come to expect from an EVERGOODS product.

EXTERIOR STASH POCKET

Deep, medium volume pocket for quick stash or retrieval of items like glasses case, headphones, light jacket, etc. Pocket has independent volume and is high up on the bag, so it isn't crowded by other load areas.

LUGGAGE PASS-THROUGH

Floating back panel acts as a luggage pass-through. Without any extra parts, zippers, or hardwear, CTB26 can drop onto roller luggage for easier travel.

NEW MEETS HERITAGE

To deliver the heritage look along with the modern expansion & retraction that the CTB26's side pockets are known for, we had to devise a new gusseted pattern solution. ?It kicks out when in use but uses a hidden magnet to keep a closed and taught exterior when not in use. 1L Nalgene approved.

Feature-packed design in a size that transitions beautifully between your daily carry and weekend travel. Fits in overhead bins and under plane seats, but also sits in a standard volume ready for all day comfort.
